Questions
Flying by
It's hard to believe that I'm already 18 weeks along. Almost "half baked". The time is truly flying by, i have these wonderful holidays to thank for that. It seems like I blink, and its already time to take another weekly photo!
I haven't updated since my last appointment almost 2.5weeks ago. The appointment went wonderful. My blood pressure is perfect, I've gained 6lbs which according to the doctor is great (i feel like I've gained 15!), and we found the babies heart beat on the first try :) That truly brings a HUGE smile to this mommas face! Along with the appointment, i got my flu shot and had my second trimester screening done. I received those results today, and we are negative, and considered low risk for Trisomy and Down Syndrome. What a relief that was. I was also able to book my "BIG" ultrasound, which takes place next Wednesday, December 19th. Although we have the appointment, we will not know the gender of the baby until the 21st when we have family and friends over for our Gender Reveal Party. We will have the Ultrasound tech check boy or girl on a piece of paper, and we will take that to our local bakery where they will make a cake, a cake that will have either blue, or pink filling. Next Friday can't come soon enough. Once we know the sex, crib purchasing will take place. We have a few that we really like right now, but knowing the gender will help us pick.
To leave this post, i'm adding in my 17 and 18 week boards. It's really nice having a talented husband who can make my chalk board look amazing each week!
